Past Events
Festival of Song - October 2011 Our choir took to the streets and did spot singing sessions in and around the waterfront area of the city... and a special 'beautiful day' rendition to some newlyweds on the college green (Sat 9th October). Then at the end of the week's festivities - we sang at the St George's hall. We were the 'headliner' act at the end of the evening - and left the audience as usual, wanting more!! Caught on Shout Out Bristol Radio - Listen to one our songs on air (at around 51 minutes into the show)!

Oct 11th (Tues) - St Aiden's, Kingswood - Concert @ 7:30pm A lovely evening singing to the folk at St Aidens - Kingswood & St George - the acoustics of the venue gave us some wonderful rich tones... |
What a fantastic day... our choir would like to thank all those responsible for organising the event, and for magically holding back the rain for a sun kissed festival of LGBT'ness! Our choir joined in the march from Queens Square - holding up bemused traffic in the centre and along Baldwin street - we managed to get a few songs out along the way! It wasn't long before it was our turn to hit the boards on the main arena stage. We sung a selection of upbeat numbers, including Rehab and Rolling in the Deep. Despite not really having the correct microphones (please note for next year) - it was obvious that our songs were enjoyed throughout the crowd. BBC shows a photo of our choir on their website! Bristol Evening Post mentions us on Monday 18th!

Sing Out Bristol performed a spectactular selection of songs on Saturday February 19th 2011 at the Redgrave Theatre. |
New Members Night On 23rd November 2010 - we had 9 potential new members join us - Ronan had the unenviable task of controlling over 60 folk attending that evening - a fun night was had by all! (and yes we did get a chance to sing a little Abba!!) |
Festival of Song - 2010 Saturday morning 23rd October - song raids - as part of Bristol's Festival of Song. |
Summer Sing Out 2010 We were really pleased to be joined by Bristol's Stepford Sisters, who started the evening off with a superb selection of songs. Our choir had the task of following them - and judging by the audiences reaction - hit the mark with many foot tapping favourites. The summer theme of the evening - was supported by many quirky props, including end of the pier photo stands and a 're-tuned' version of Punch & Judy! Much merrymaking was had in the 'hot' bar-room and the aftershow disco continued into the late evening... |
